His background includes five years as a newspaper reporter and columnist, seven years as a writer and manager for entertainment publications, seven years as a college textbook editor, and ten years in the high school testing field. A Minnesota native and graduate of St. Cloud State University, he recently moved back to the Twin Cities after spending 20 years in the wilderness (Texas).
